Planned power outage for section of western Trigg County Sunday morning

There will be a planned power outage early Sunday morning for about 1,000 Pennyrile Electric members in western Trigg County to allow for maintenance on the system.

It will begin at 12:01 a.m. and last for about three hours, according to the cooperative, which says it will affect the following locations: Trigg Furnace, Rockcastle Shores, Peal's Chapel Road, State Route 274 East to the John E. Woodruff Bridge, Rockcastle Road, Goose Hollow Road, Parkview Shores, Cunningham Lane, Rich Circle, Carriage Cove, Blue River Road, Woodfield Drive, and Rockcastle Lakeshore Drive.

Pennyrile Electric says it regrets this interruption of service, but it is necessary to conduct routine maintenance on a substation transformer. In case of inclement weather, the interruption will be rescheduled for a later date.
